Seeking out local bakeries, grocery stores, restaurants, kitchen shops and, of course, markets is always a mission.  I often lag behind my group and can be found gazing into food themed window displays of beautifully painted marzipans, mounds of olives and enticing spices and oils.

Most interestingly though, I find myself marvelling at how much of what I see anywhere can be found right here in Stratford.  We boast two wonderful weekly markets, great restaurants, well stocked kitchen shops, artisan bread makers and choclatiers and quality products ideal for stocking any gourmet pantry. The Wizard ofOz’s Dorothy knew what she was talking about when she said that, “There is no place like home.”
